These terms describe the permitted use of the Madaripur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI or the Chamber) website. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy and any notices applicable to the service you use.

The website provides information about the Chamber, membership, business services, events, news and related activities. If you have questions about these terms, contact the Chamber before using a service affected by your concern.

When you submit an application, enquiry, document or profile update, you are responsible for providing accurate, relevant information and for having authority to act for the business or person concerned.

• Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your business, membership status or authority.
• Submit only documents and content you are entitled to provide.
• Keep business and representative contact information reasonably up to date.
• Inform the Chamber if a submission contains a material error or needs to be corrected.

An online application is a request for consideration, not confirmation of membership. Eligibility, document verification, approval, dues, renewal and any membership rights are governed by the Chamber’s applicable constitution, rules, decisions and published service requirements.

A submission receipt or website message confirms receipt only. The Chamber may request further information before reaching a decision. Please confirm current requirements and fees with the office before relying on a membership service.

Executive committee appointments require the relevant Chamber approval process. Registering as a member, submitting a website form or appearing in the member directory does not itself appoint a person to a committee role.

Event dates, venues, availability and programme details may change. An enquiry, registration request or downloaded calendar entry does not guarantee a seat; rely on the confirmation issued by the Chamber or the identified organiser.

Before making a payment, confirm the amount, authorised payment method and any cancellation or refund conditions applicable to that particular service or event. These website terms do not create a general no-refund rule or replace applicable law.

Never send banking passwords, one-time codes or payment-card details through a general enquiry form. If a payment instruction looks unusual, verify it through the Chamber’s published contact details.

You must use the website lawfully and in a way that respects other users and the Chamber’s services. In particular, do not:

• Attempt unauthorised access to administrative accounts, records or technical systems.
• Upload malicious files, exploit security weaknesses or disrupt the availability of the website.
• Submit fraudulent, unlawful, threatening or rights-infringing material.
• Use forms or published contact details for spam, harassment or deceptive marketing.
• Collect or republish personal information from the directory in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

Please report suspected security issues privately to the Chamber. Do not access or disclose other people’s information to demonstrate a problem.

Administrative sign-in is for authorised personnel only. Access is limited to the permissions assigned to the account. Keep credentials private and notify the Chamber promptly about suspected misuse or unauthorised access.

The Chamber may restrict website or administrative access to address misuse, a security concern or an applicable requirement. Website access restrictions do not, by themselves, determine a business’s underlying membership rights, which remain subject to the Chamber’s relevant procedures.

Website text, designs, logos, photographs and documents belong to the Chamber or their respective rights holders. You may read, link to and retain material for personal or internal business reference, subject to any notice attached to that material and rights available under applicable law.

Other reuse, including use of the Chamber’s logo to suggest approval, sponsorship or affiliation, requires appropriate permission. Do not remove attribution or misrepresent the source of material.

When you provide business profile content, you authorise its use for reviewing and administering the requested Chamber service and, where intended for publication, displaying the relevant profile or directory information. This does not transfer ownership of your content or authorise publication of identity documents supplied for verification.

Directory entries and third-party links are provided for information and business connectivity. A listing does not guarantee a member’s products, services, financial standing or regulatory status. Carry out checks appropriate to any transaction.

External websites, maps, document viewers and other third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. A link or reference does not imply that MCCI owns that service, endorses every statement on it, or is affiliated with another chamber.

We aim to provide useful and current information, but website material may contain errors or become out of date. Services may also be interrupted for maintenance, technical problems or events outside the Chamber’s control.

General website information is not a substitute for transaction-specific legal, tax, financial or regulatory advice. Confirm important requirements with the relevant office or qualified adviser before making a decision.

Responsibility for loss or other remedies is subject to applicable law and any specific agreement governing the relevant service. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These terms may be revised when website features or service arrangements change. The revision date appears at the top. A specific service agreement or applicable mandatory legal requirement takes precedence where it conflicts with these general website terms.
